Nagraj is a Co-Founder and General Partner at Touring Capital, where he backs visionary founders building transformative technology companies. He serves on Touring’s Investment Committee and on the boards of SafelyYou, ProRata, Pixis, and OnEarly. He also led Touring’s investments in Netradyne and Exaforce.

Nagraj co-founded Touring after more than two decades in venture capital, having helped build and lead some of the industry’s most influential corporate and global investment platforms. Previously, he was a Managing Partner at SoftBank Vision Fund, the founder and Global Head of M12, Microsoft’s venture capital arm, and a founding Partner and Global Head of Qualcomm Ventures. His notable investments include Zoom, Outreach, Livongo, Kahoot, Waze, Fitbit, Airvana, Loggi, and Innovaccer. He holds degrees from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the University of Texas at Austin.

Originally from New Delhi, Nagraj began his career as a software engineer, product manager, and management consultant before accidentally finding his way into venture capital in 2003 — a profession for which he still claims to have received no formal training. He’s particularly drawn to entrepreneurs who are highly adaptable, deeply people-oriented, and relentlessly product-obsessed.

Nagraj serves on the Advisory Council of the University of Texas Department of Computer Science and the Dean’s Advisory Board at SDSU’s Fowler College of Business. He is also a former board member of the National Venture Capital Association. Outside of work, he’s an avid road cyclist, a student of political history, and a meticulous family vacation planner — whose itineraries have been known to include three-week biking adventures through the Balearic Islands.
